There are 3.5 million people living in the Twin Cities. For every ten people, five don’t go to church. That’s 1,846,250 people—the same people who pass you by in skyways, on highways, in classrooms and cubicles.
Every number has a name.
Every name has a story.
Every story matters to God.
The heart behind everything we do is to reach people for Christ so that lives are transformed. That’s what it’s all about. Over the last decade, by God’s power we have grown to six locations. We intend to keep following where He leads, reaching people for Christ—one name, one story, one person at a time.
Where we’re going: Chapter 2 (2014-2016)
Here’s a snapshot of some of our focus areas for this next chapter.
- Campus #6: In Chapter 2, we plan to find and prepare for a permanent site for those currently gathering at Coon Rapids High School.
- Debt Reduction: Being debt-free is important to us.We intend to pay down the Woodbury loan agreement aggressively and quickly.
- Building Improvements: Continual repairs and necessary upgrades will be made at existing locations.
- Preparing for Campus #7: If God opens a door, we want to be ready!
What we’ve done so far: Chapter 1 (2012-2014)
In 2012, we launched a 10-year vision to make the message of Jesus accessible to more people in the metro area. 5,885 individuals and families invested in the journey. Because of your generosity, in just two years we opened a mobile site at Coon Rapids High School (December 2013), built and launched the Woodbury campus (September 2014), expanded efforts in our local and global communities, and improved the kids’ spaces at existing campuses.
